After receiving a Diploma in Fine Art and a Degree in Languages,
I continued my studies independently attending schools and institutions
in London, Oklahoma City and New York where I developed my Printmaking
skills under the guidance of reknown artists.
Stimulated by the imaginary, my emotions developed into
games of composition which leave ample space to interpretation.
After an in-depth reading and analysis of 'The Invisible Cities' by Italo
Calvino, I have carried out a transcendental representation of these
mysterious, incredible and stupendous cities. The result is a series of
designs and etchings, each of which derives from a careful reflection on
the innermost meanings in the tales of Calvino.
The poetic visions, translated into disquieting landscapes in perspective,
boast of skilful composition. The deep hues present in most of the
etchings add a kind of dreamy-like appearance which, together
with the magical world of illusion, reflects eaveryday reality.
